How we help you find The One. One date at a time…

Apply for Membership
Every member that joins The One Matchmaking starts by completing our Membership Application followed by an initial discussion to ensure our services are a good fit. Getting started as a Passive Member is absolutely free. During this initial discussion we will talk you through the different membership options so you can decide which one is best for you.
Background check
Once your membership application has been approved you will start the process.
As a Passive Member, you will be sent our Matchmaking Questionnaire to complete. Your profile will be added to our exclusive database where you have the potential to be matched with high quality, Private and Priority Members.
If you join as a Private or Priority Member you pay the Membership Fee (79 CHF) and provide us with the required background information (passport, criminal record, credit check, civil status confirmation).
Date Ready Interview
Following the background check, we will schedule a personal interview with a Matchmaker so we get to know who you are and what makes you unique. We will work with you to clarify your partner preferences and create an amazing profile for you that highlights exactly who you are and what you have to offer. At this stage your profile is 100% confidential and only accessible to the One Matchmakers.
Match
Matchmaking is not only a science, but an art form, that utilises psychologically based processes and intuition to find the best connections between two people. It requires an in-depth understanding of what is important to you, and the aspects that will lead you to a loving and long lasting relationship.
Proactive Search
If you join us as a Private or Priority Member we will do everything possible to make sure you get the best matches. We will conduct a proactive search for your matches, both within our database of members as well as actively searching externally for our Priority Members. Our processes are based on over a decade of Executive Headhunting and proven Matchmaking search processes and knowledge.
Match Presentation
Once a match has been found, and all the background checks completed, we will call to discuss the person with you and get your approval to share your profile. Up to this point, everything is 100% confidential and we will not reveal any personal identifying information. Protecting your privacy and security is so important to us and we will always get your permission before sharing your private details with anyone.
Date
Dating Concierge
If you both agree to share your profiles and then decide it’s time to meet we will take care of all the details.
As your own personal concierge service, we will take care of all the arrangements for the first date. Together we will select the location and the style of date that represents you best - be that fun, adventure or pure romance. We will make the reservations and take care of all of the details for you. For a first date, we usually recommend a lunch or dinner date, or an afternoon activity such as a walk along the lake or maybe a visit to an art gallery or a museum. We work around your schedule and will be sure to find a creative solution so you don’t have to wait too long to meet. With the current pandemic situation in Switzerland, we may even recommend a first virtual date.
Of course, it is important that you get the chance to meet your date face to face and see if there is chemistry. You won’t have to worry about logistics though as everything is taken care of for you.
Feedback
Feedback
After every date we arrange a follow-up call to see how the date went and learn more about what you liked and disliked. If you haven’t already shared your contact details and you feel you really want to see the person again, we will be sure to let them know. Similarly if it wasn’t a match, we will happily let them down easy for you.
The feedback process is so fundamental to finding your ideal partner. Based on your feedback we will fine tune your future matches as we both learn what you are looking for and what it will take for you to fall head over heels in love.
Date Coaching
Additionally, and just as importantly, you will receive feedback from your date which is invaluable to helping you improve your dating success. You will receive date coaching based on the feedback which will help you improve your dating skills and put your best foot forward in the future. Quickly you will notice how different your dating experience will become. You will be excited about dating, enjoy your dates and will start connecting with men or women who could potentially become The One.
